Dynamic Stars Team Once Again Chooses Logan Marching Chieftains in Memory of Bryan Dickerson
It's that time of year for the Loryn Cassady Memorial 5K run. This year, the largest team entered will receive $500 to donate to the non-profit organization of their choice.
The Dynamic Stars are once again sponsoring a team in memory of Bryan Dickerson. Bryan was a drum captain of the Logan Marching Chieftains and graduated in 2007. Brian passed away in 2016 as a result of an auto accident.
If the Dynamic Stars ends up with the largest team, they have decided to donate the $500 to the Logan Marching Chieftains in Bryan's memory.
If you would like to help with this goal, please enter the 5K this year and list "Dynamic Stars Team Bryan" as your team. You will be helping the Logan Marching Chieftains as well as raising money for the Loryn Cassady scholarship fund at LHS. That's a Win/Win!
The official race begins at 9 a.m., with registration to be held from 7:30 to 8:40 a.m. at Dynamic Stars Studio, 16 E. Main St. Early registration will also be held the previous evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
Children are welcome to participate (strollers are allowed) and a short run will be held for children (11 and under) at 8:40 a.m.
Advance registration is $20 for adults 18 and over, $10 for students ages 12–17, and $5 for youth 11-under. Those who register by Nov. 20 will receive a 5K T-shirt.
Day-of-race fees are $25 for adults (18 and over), $15 for students (ages 12-17) and $10 for youth (11 and under).
