Today is Jeffrey North Day as Proclaimed by the Hocking County Commissioners

The Hocking County Commissioners proclaimed today Saturday May 27th, 2017 as Jeffrey North Day in recognition of his 30 years of service to the community. Today Jeff, along with Ben Wright will be leading the Jazz Band during the LHS Alumni Day at the Bowen House. The Jazz band will be performing at approximately Noon.

On Memorial Day, Jeff will be directing the band for the final time during the Memorial Day Parade. The parade will begin at 10:00 near the Bowen House.

The Logan Band Boosters would also like to invite everyone to an Open House being held Memorial Day in honor of Jeff to celebrate his retirement after serving as LHS Head Band Director for 30 years. Everyone is welcome. We hope to see as many current or previous students as possible, district faculty and staff, and everyone else in the community that would like to come and thank Jeff for his years of service to our community. There will be a card basket available for cards of thanks for Jeff. Please stop anytime between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm at the LHS Cafeteria to share a memory or to wish him well.
